American Heart Association

With more than 3,000 representatives and 156 local offices across the country, the American Heart Association doesn’t stop there. How They Accomplish Their Goal

This organization works to educate lawmakers and the public by supporting public healthcare. United States Fund for UNICEF

The ultimate goal of this organization is to provide healthcare, vaccines, access to clean water and nutritious foods, and uphold the rights of children. UNICEF works with both governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to protect the lives of children who are most vulnerable. In order to do this, UNICEF USA raises money by partnering with various groups, such as community leaders, churches, student organizations, celebrities, academies, and more.

Currently, this organization helps children in more than 190 different regions and countries around the globe. However, this non-profit dates back to after World War II. Their operations looked a bit different back then! During that time, UNICEF would hand out nutritional supplements, medicine, powdered milk, vaccines, and other necessary aid to sick children in China, Europe, and countries in the Middle East.

Separately, if you are not struggling right now, you can consider donating to any of these charities. Donations don’t always need to be in the form of money! You can donate your time by volunteering. In addition to that, you can donate clothes, shoes, or food.
